FAQ
Q: What is Sage Youth/Why Sage Youth?
A: Sage Youth Organization (SYO), started in hopes of helping younger kids with their confidence, mental health, and overall emotional well-being. Offering them a safe place where they can express their feelings, build up emotions, talk about their month (what happened, how it went, etc.) While also keeping a really fun and trustworthy relationship. That often can’t be found within a parent or counselor. Acting as a sibling figure in a type of way.
The Benefits of Parents:

Q: How do Sage mentors have the ability to help those in need of emotional support?
Every mentor that gets admitted into the organization will undergo training that is similar to the Peer Helping program at Gabrielino High. With that, it ensures that they understand how to handle any situation that may come their way. Every training mentor gets assisted and trained by our management team that has background knowledge from peer helping, sociology, and psychology.
Sage Youth Organization within Schools/Foster Homes/Community:

As trusted individuals, we can offer help with areas that a child is struggling in and create a safe and loving environment for each child. Thereby, easing off the stress that comes from worrying about a child’s well-being.
Future of Sage Youth Organization:
We are currently aiming for our organization’s services to be offered to kids and teens within School Districts, Hospitals, Foster Homes, Communities and many more across the nation and globe. Breaking the stigma and advocating for the importance of Mental Health!
